Refund Policy

1. Free trial
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial of the Investor tier. Because the trial is free, nothing can be refunded on a trial. You may let the trial expire at no cost — you will not be charged unless you explicitly subscribe.
2. 7-day satisfaction refund on first purchase
If you are not satisfied with your first paid subscription, you may request a full refund within 7 calendar days of the date of the original charge, provided:
- You have not downloaded or exported more than 5 reports, spreadsheets, or backtest result files from the platform during that period; and
- You have not logged in from more than 3 devices during that period; and
- You are requesting the refund in good faith and not after the end of a pricing promotion.
The 7-day window applies only to the very first paid charge on an account. Subsequent renewals are not covered by the first-purchase refund window.
3. Renewals and ongoing subscriptions
Renewal charges are non-refundable once processed. We send a reminder email at least 3 days before any scheduled renewal so that you have time to cancel if you do not wish to continue. You can cancel future renewals at any time from your account page. Cancellation does not shorten the current paid period — you keep access until the end of the cycle you have already paid for.
4. Partial months and pro-rata
Subscriptions are delivered on a full-cycle basis. We do not issue pro-rata refunds for unused days when you cancel part-way through a monthly or annual cycle, except as expressly required by Nigerian consumer-protection law.
5. Failed or duplicate charges
If you see a duplicate charge or a charge you do not recognise, email us at support@nairalpha.com with the Paystack reference and we will investigate. Confirmed duplicates and unauthorised charges are refunded in full within 7 business days.
6. Service outages
If the NairAlpha platform is unavailable for more than 24 continuous hours during a billing cycle due to an issue on our side, you may request a pro-rata service credit equal to the affected days. Service credits are applied to your next renewal and do not have cash value.
7. How to request a refund
Email support@nairalpha.com from the email address on your NairAlpha account with:
- The Paystack transaction reference (for example
na_mnuouh84_h2fnfno8). - The amount charged and the date.
- A brief reason for the request.
We will respond within 2 business days and, if the request is approved, issue the refund to the original payment instrument within 7 business days. Paystack typically takes a further 3–10 business days to return funds to your bank or card issuer — that portion of the timeline is outside our control.
8. Chargebacks and disputes
If you open a chargeback or dispute with your bank or card issuer without first contacting us, we may suspend your account until the dispute is resolved. We encourage you to email us first — the vast majority of issues can be resolved faster through support than through a chargeback.
